Year of Establishment: 1968

Among the colleges affiliated to Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, the Department of Telugu, Government Degree College, Tadipatri offers all required facilities to support teaching and research in Telugu Language. . Since its inception the Department has been playing an important role, assisting the college in administration and organizing almost every important event.

Teaching methods adopted to improve student learning

Realizing the significance of institutional accountability in the teaching learning and evaluation process, the department implements adequate in built mechanisms and adopts new mechanisms in achieving the goals of academic excellence. For effective delivery of the curriculum, faculty members update their knowledge of subjects through following practices and strategies

  • Lecture and Demonstration, Interactive/ blended mode of teaching methods of pedagogical tools used.
  • Participation and presentation of research papers in various seminars
  • Seminars and group discussions arranged for students.
  • ICT based modern teaching aids are used.
  • To take the review of the curriculum to be taught and prepare the teaching plan for theory.
  • The faculties are well trained through orientation programmes, refresher courses, workshops, seminars, conferences.

Student Learning Enrichment Programs
